I am an experienced Windows Developer. There are certain themes that run through my employment history:

Project Rescue
 I am skilled at bringing stalled projects to completion. I am Expert in debugging. I am self-training; able to research complex systems and quickly come to understand them. I am very good at separating the need-to-know from the nice-to-know.

Rapid Development
Rapid Development generally goes hand-in-hand with project rescue. But I also use these techniques to get projects burdened by close or inflexible deadlines delivered on-time.

Team Leadership
Projects are sometimes stalled because of outside factors, but often they need leadership. Leadership is not about who is smartest or who's been there the longest. Leadership deals with balancing interlocking needs: the customer's needs, the company's needs and the employee's needs.  If any of these parts get out of balance the whole project goes out of balance. I am a skilled, easy-to-work-with team leader. I am honest, friendly and fair. I can build a team and I can set it up so it continues to run after I'm gone.

Mentor to Junior Staff
It is in my nature to train people, both formally and informally. I have always considered it my job to prepare people for their next assignment.

Interlocking Applications is a sole proprietorship registered in Littleton Massachusetts by Patrick Taber in 2003. The company has three independent but interlocking aspects:

Consulting
I do Corp-to-Corp contracts (1099) developing to spec on Windows with Microsoft tools. I am comfortable at all levels of Windows programming and have experience providing programming support in hardware labs. My rate is $65/hr

Educational Services
I am certified to teach the eBay "Basics of eBay Selling" course and can supplement the instruction with workshops in product photography, copywriting, advanced auction tools and managing an auction business.

Internet Commerce
Interlocking Applications can broker auctions on eBay. We are registered with PayPal and Square Trade and can handle all aspects of the auction from initial research to packing and shipping for you.

We also develop websites for affiliate marketing purposes. Our sites are consumer friendly. This is not a service we market to other companies, but we can offer you some good advice if you're going into this field or we can help you with your site.
